Nice and quiet compared to my last hair dryer. I really like the soft band that keeps it from sliding on the counter or making a clunk when you set it down. The only thing I don't like about it is the way the diffusers snap on (very difficult to remove them) and the fact that the "cool" button doesn't seem to completely shut off the heating element.
Flat irons come in a variety of materials, but some of the most popular include ceramic and titanium. JCPenney also carries a few flat irons made with tourmaline, a rare metal that is typically found in salon-quality flat irons. Some brands even have very large plates that can straighten quite a lot of hair in one movement. At JCPenney, you can also find options that come in smaller sizes to focus on styling and textured curling, as well as irons with curved plates. In addition, JCPenney shoppers can find flat irons with digital or analog capabilities. Many of JCPenney's products are manufactured with ionic technology, which helps reduce frizz and adds moisture. Whether you're shopping for a heavy-duty flat iron or a travel iron for a trip, be sure to make the most of your budget by shopping at JCPenney.

In 2001, ghd revolutionised the way women styled their hair with the launch of its first styler – a professional tool designed for salon use that could also be easily used at home. ghd has continued to be a leader and innovator in hair styling with its range of professional brushes, ghd Style styling products and the launch of its first hairdryer, ghd air™.
Achieve stunning curls: Mist hair with ghd heat protect spray. Section the hair and lightly mist with a curl hold spray. This will help give hold when creating each curl. Place a fine section of hair between the plates of your ghd Classic Styler vertically 1 inch away from the root. Gently close the styler with minimum tension. Turn the styler clockwise by 90 degrees; continue to turn the styler by another 90 degrees as you glide from root to end. For an intense curl, pull the styler very slowly away from the head in a continuous smooth movement. An s-shaped vertical curl is created. To complete the style, repeat through all sections. Finally, separate and brush out the curls with your fingers.
